SEYEON JEONG
Seyeon Jeong is an image-based artist who deals with photography and 3D/CGI. She was born and raised in Busan, South Korea and is currently enrolled in New York University. With her background as an art director and cosplayer, she’s interested in creating staged visual outputs that show how humans define and transform the identities of human beings in contemporary culture.
‘Image’라는 개념을 기반으로 사진, 3D/CGI, 영화, 그림 등 다양한 매체를 를 통해 작업을 만들고 있습니다. 부산의 전통이 강조된 가정에서 자라 일본 애니메이션과 코스프레 커뮤니티를 통해 예술에 대해 흥미를 가지게 되었고, 현재 뉴욕에서 활동하고 있습니다. 저의 작업은 개인적인 경험과 환경에 깊이 뿌리를 두고 있으며, 한국 전통 요소, 기술의 발전, 불교 철학의 영향을 받았습니다. 이를 통해 주로 익명성, 복장, 영적 개념 속 하나의 주제를 탐구하여 그에 대한 저만의 해석을 초현실적이고 연출된 시각적 결과물로 만들어냅니다.
이미지를 만들어내는 사람으로써, 저의 목표는 저를 표현하는 것 뿐만 아니라 다른 사람들에게도 즐거움을 느낄 수 있는 시간을 제공하는 것 입니다. 제 작업을 통해 시청자들이 제가 창조한 시각적 세계에서 상상 할 수 있고, 개인적인 공명을 찾을 수 있기를 바랍니다.

— Gained hands-on experience in creative installations, immersive displays, and interactive
designs, contributing to team projects and exploring innovative approaches within the industry.
— Co-created and designed visually stunning environments using Unreal Engine as a 3D artist.
— Collaborated with creative teams to develop high-quality environmental assets and managed
project intake from vendors.
— Worked on commercial projects for clients like ELF Cosmetic and Webroot, designing
compelling scenes, which achieved over 2 million views on YouTube.
